Our Philosophy
We see every child as a unique individual. We respect their personality, interests, needs and pace of development, giving them opportunities to play, explore, create and make friends in a healthy, safe and caring environment. Showing care, listening, observing and offering encouragement and guidance are at the heart of our everyday work.
We support every aspect of a child’s development, including their thinking and understanding, psychological and emotional wellbeing, social and communication skills, physical development, movement, independence, creativity, character and positive attitudes. Alongside preparing children for school, we value their opportunities to laugh, explore their interests, ask questions and discover who they are, enjoying a happy childhood filled with play and lasting memories.
Guided by this principle, we help children make their own choices, solve problems, learn from mistakes and think for themselves, without rushing them, putting them under pressure or expecting perfection. We support them in becoming confident, happy, independent and responsible individuals who respect others, remain curious, think creatively and enjoy learning.
Our Curriculum
We bring together Mongolia’s national preschool curriculum, the internationally recognised Montessori approach, English-language learning and creative activities. Our curriculum covers movement and health, language and communication, early mathematical concepts, the natural and social world, music and visual arts.
We aim to develop children’s ability to learn independently. In a Montessori environment prepared for their age and stage of development, children work with learning materials and learn to make choices, concentrate, coordinate their movements and correct their own mistakes. The five main areas are:
Practical Life
Caring for themselves, carrying out everyday tasks and keeping their surroundings tidy.
Sensorial
Exploring and distinguishing between sizes, shapes, colours, textures and sounds.
Language
Listening, speaking, recognising speech sounds, building vocabulary and preparing for reading and writing.
Mathematics
Understanding numbers, quantities, sequences and basic arithmetic, and developing logical thinking.
Culture
An introduction to nature, animals, plants, geography, science, art and culture.
Children learn English through games, songs, music, movement, stories and role play, developing familiarity with everyday words, phrases and simple conversations.
Through visual arts, music, dance, crafts, active games, nature observation and activities that encourage exploration and discovery, children develop their ability to draw, make things, play music and express their creativity. Additional clubs include piano, chess and other activities that support children’s development.
Age Groups
Younger Group – Age 2
Independence, self-care, movement, sensory development and language.
Middle Group – Age 3
Language, Montessori activities, early mathematics, art and movement.
Older Group – Age 4
Language, mathematics, culture, science, creative activities and independence.
Preparatory Group – Age 5
School readiness, language, mathematics, thinking and understanding, and independent learning.
These activities develop children’s thinking, understanding, observation and comparison skills, and their ability to recognise cause and effect. They also help children recognise, express and manage their emotions, communicate their thoughts and needs clearly, make friends, work with others and develop healthy habits.
We document each child’s progress through daily observations of their participation, independence, concentration, interactions and learning. We assess each child’s progress against their own earlier development, without comparing them with others.
Everyday Life at Kindergarten
A balanced day with opportunities to learn, play, move and rest.
Our daily routine includes arrival and welcome, exercise, breakfast, learning and developmental activities, outdoor walks, movement and play, lunch, rest, Montessori time, music, songs, poems, stories, English, creative activities, free play and time to bring the day to a close before collection. This provides a balanced day with opportunities to learn, play, move and rest.
In the classroom, children learn to concentrate on and complete their chosen activities, use materials carefully and return them to their place. They practise respecting others’ work, communicating gently, treating friends with respect, waiting their turn, walking carefully and keeping their surroundings clean and tidy. We develop positive behaviour through example, understanding, guidance and support.
Monthly Themes for 2026–2027
Throughout the year, children explore the following themes to learn about the world around them and everyday life in ways suited to their age.
Working Together with Families
Our kindergarten, teachers and families work as one team to support children’s happiness, development and future. We encourage you to take part in parent meetings, workshops and guidance sessions, and to communicate openly with your child’s teacher about their daily development, progress, behaviour, emotions, health and learning.
Please raise feedback or concerns respectfully through the appropriate communication channels and discuss them privately, keeping the child’s best interests at the centre of every conversation.
- Listen and talk to your child every day, and read books together. Make time to play and create things together, and respond patiently to their questions.
- Give your child age-appropriate opportunities to put on and take off their clothes and shoes, put away toys, books and belongings, set the table and help with small household tasks.
- Encourage them with “You can do it”, and recognise each small act of independence, attempt and step forward. Respond to mistakes with understanding, give them opportunities to think through problems and find their own solutions, and avoid comparing them with others.
- Continue the habits your child is learning at kindergarten. Doing everything for them can slow the development of independence, so keep giving them opportunities to do things for themselves.

Useful Information for Parents
Arrival and collection
Our regular opening hours are 08:00–18:00. Arriving on time helps your child begin the day calmly and confidently. Please bring your child at a consistent time, hand them over directly to their teacher and share any relevant information about their health or emotional wellbeing. Please avoid late arrivals wherever possible and do not send unnecessary items, such as toys, food or drinks, into the classroom.
Who can collect your child
Children may only be collected by a registered, authorised person. Please notify the kindergarten in advance if someone else will collect your child or if collection will be after 18:00. Care beyond regular hours is subject to the kindergarten’s fee terms.
Illness and absence
If your child will be absent, please make sure you notify their teacher as early as possible that morning. Monitor your child’s health and keep them at home if they show signs of illness or have a condition that is contagious or could put others at risk of infection. Seek and follow medical advice when needed. To protect other children, we cannot accept children who are unwell.
Health and safeguarding
Your child’s health and safety are our highest priorities. Please provide accurate information about any allergies or health conditions, and notify the teacher immediately if your contact details change. If your child becomes ill or is injured while at kindergarten, we will follow the relevant procedures, provide appropriate first aid and inform you promptly.
Every child has the right to be respected, heard and safe, and to develop in their own way. We do not tolerate intimidation, insults, belittling, slapping, abuse, comparisons with other children, humiliation or discipline based on fear or punishment.
Clothing and supplies
Please choose comfortable clothing that allows your child to move freely, suits the season and is easy for them to put on and take off independently. Children must have lightweight, comfortable indoor slippers that are easy to put on and take off, along with a change of clothes suitable for the season.
Please provide all personal items and learning supplies listed separately for your child’s age group, taking their age and stage of development into account. Choose products that are safe, good quality, age-appropriate, easy to use and environmentally friendly. We recommend labelling your child’s belongings with their name.
Fees and Withdrawal
Tuition fees support teaching and developmental activities, food, Montessori materials, learning supplies, staff salaries and training, teachers’ professional development, children’s safety and hygiene, premises costs and other operating expenses. We manage our finances transparently, responsibly and efficiently, using funds for their intended purposes and keeping proper supporting records.
Fee amounts, payment deadlines, discounts and other conditions are governed by your agreement with the kindergarten and its approved policies. If you plan to withdraw your child or transfer them to another setting, please provide written notice in advance. Transfers, refunds and the settlement of fees are handled in accordance with the agreement.
We recognise the responsibility that comes with the trust you place in us to care for your child. May every child grow at their own pace, follow their own path and shine in their own way.
