At Huleg International School, we prepare students for internationally recognised examinations and higher education abroad. Students can take IELTS Preparation and SAT Preparation as weekly elective courses, while Chinese-language learning and HSK Preparation are integrated into the curriculum from Grades 6 to 12.

IELTS Preparation
IELTS is an internationally recognised English-language proficiency test accepted by universities and colleges around the world. It assesses four essential skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Our IELTS Preparation course helps students strengthen their academic English and understand the requirements of each section. Students practise key question types, develop effective time-management strategies and learn how to approach the examination with confidence.
SAT Preparation
The SAT is a university admissions test that assesses students’ skills in Reading and Writing and Mathematics. SAT scores are considered by many universities, particularly in the United States, and may also support scholarship applications.
Our SAT Preparation course develops subject knowledge, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and effective test-taking strategies. Students become familiar with the test format, practise managing their time and build confidence across both sections.
Chinese Language and HSK Preparation
Chinese is taught as part of the curriculum from Grades 6 to 12. Through a structured, step-by-step programme, students progressively develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills while gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese language and culture.
The programme aims to prepare students to achieve HSK Level 1 by the end of Grade 10, with continued support throughout Grades 11 and 12 as they progress towards higher HSK levels.
HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is a standardised examination that assesses the Chinese-language proficiency of non-native speakers. HSK Level 1 demonstrates a foundational ability to understand and use simple Chinese in everyday situations.
Students continue to receive support in Grades 11 and 12 as they progress towards higher HSK levels.
