At Huleg International School, we believe students thrive when their physical and mental well-being are supported together. Sport plays an important role in this approach, complementing our Wellbeing Programme by helping students stay active, build confidence and develop positive connections with others.
Taking part in sport gives students an opportunity to enjoy movement, manage everyday stress and experience the satisfaction of making progress. It also teaches them to work towards shared goals, respond to setbacks and support one another. We encourage students to value their own improvement, celebrate each other’s efforts and find enjoyment in being part of a team.
Huleg's Warriors
Our two basketball teams, known as the Huleg Warriors, bring these values to the court. Basketball gives students the opportunity to develop their skills while learning the importance of communication, discipline and trust. Every player has a role to fulfil and a contribution to make.
As Hulic Warriors, our players are encouraged to represent their school with pride, respect their teammates and opponents, and approach challenges with determination. Together, the teams help build a sense of belonging and a school spirit that the whole Huleg community can share.
After-School Activities
Our after-school programme also includes taekwondo and ballet, offering students different ways to stay active and explore their interests. Taekwondo encourages focus, self-discipline and respect, while ballet develops posture and coordination alongside creativity and expression through movement.
These activities give students opportunities to discover their strengths, practise new skills and grow in confidence. By making physical activity an enjoyable part of school life, we encourage habits that support their well-being as they grow.
